Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited nursing program with an ADN or BSN.
• Current and valid LPN or RN license or eligibility to obtain RN license in the practicing state.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) or Heartsaver CPR AED certification, with renewal on a regular basis and up to a three-month grace period.

Responsibilities

• Participate in a formal orientation with hands-on training and simulation sessions.
• Deliver patient care under supervision, following protocols.
• Engage in simulation training to refine clinical and decision-making skills.
• Collaborate with healthcare team to implement patient care plans.
• Monitor vital signs and report changes.
• Educate patients and families on health conditions and post-treatment care.
• Assist with procedures and manage medical equipment as required.
• Document care activities accurately in EMR.
• Reflect on practice and receive mentor feedback to grow professionally.
• Attend workshops and educational opportunities for ongoing development.
• Maintain patient confidentiality and comply with nursing standards.
