Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited nursing program with an ADN or BSN.
• Current RN or LPN license or eligibility to obtain RN license in practicing state.
• BLS (for clinical staff) or Heartsaver CPR AED (for nonclinical staff) with renewal, grace period up to 3 months.

Responsibilities

• Participate in formal orientation with hands-on training and simulations.
• Deliver patient care under supervision of experienced nurses per protocols.
• Engage in simulation training to refine clinical and decision-making skills.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to implement patient care plans.
• Monitor and record vital signs and report changes to the team.
• Educate patients and families on health conditions and post-treatment care.
• Assist with procedures and management of medical equipment.
• Document care activities in electronic medical records accurately and timely.
• Reflect on practice and receive mentor feedback to grow professionally.
• Attend workshops and educational opportunities for ongoing development.
• Maintain patient confidentiality and comply with nursing standards.
• Respond to patient requests with empathy and high service quality.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance care delivery.
• Develop leadership and teamwork while gaining exposure to nursing roles.
