Job summary

Banner Health offers the New Nurse Experience RN Residency Program designed to transition new graduates to competent, professional nurses. You will be clinically mentored on a Banner Health unit, completing structured precepted experiences and skill-building in a collaborative setting.

New grads rotate through units with dedicated training, aiming to develop foundational nursing proficiency, critical thinking, and confidence in patient care.

Qualifications

• BSN is preferred - ADN at select locations accepted.
• Current BLS certification or ability to obtain before start date.
• No more than 12 months RN experience.
• Previous healthcare experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assess and document patient needs and plan care.
• Deliver direct patient care under supervision.
• Collaborate with the care team to meet patient goals.
• Participate in orientation and competency assessments.
• Utilize Cerner EMR for charting and orders.
