Job summary

Banner Health's New Nurse Experience offers a structured residency for new graduates joining the Transplant PCU in Phoenix. This full-time program blends hands-on clinical practice with mentorship from experienced staff to develop competency as a professional RN.

New grads will rotate under supervision, complete facility-based training, and prepare for successful, long-term nursing careers within Banner Health's comprehensive care system.

Qualifications

• Recent or upcoming graduation from an accredited nursing program.
• BSN is preferred; ADN may be accepted at select locations.
• Current BLS certification required prior to start date.
• No more than 12 months RN experience; hospital experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on the Transplant PCU.
• Collaborate with preceptors and unit educators during orientation.
• Participate in unit-based training and competency assessments.
• Document care in Cerner EMR and ensure patient safety.
