Ascension Sacred Heart Pensacola is seeking a Night Shift, Full-Time Registered Nurse for the Emergency Department. The facility location is 5151 N 9th Ave, Pensacola, FL 32504, US, on-site. The role supports patient care in a fast-paced ED environment.

Responsibilities include direct nursing care, observation and documentation, and collaboration with the healthcare team. You will participate in transition-to-practice programs while contributing to high-quality, patient-centered care.

Qualifikationen

• Florida RN license required or eligible prior to hire.
• BLS certification within 30 days of hire.
• Diploma in Nursing or equivalent licensure.
• Strong observation and communication skills within a healthcare team.

How you’ll make an impact in this role

• Provide direct nursing care in accordance with established policies, procedures and protocols of the healthcare organization and in collaboration with a registered nurse.
• Assist with patient care including observation and documentation of patient healthcare needs and communication of pertinent information to the registered nurse and other members of the interdisciplinary healthcare team.
• Assist with documentation and implementation of physician and nursing orders under the direction of the registered nurse preceptor.
• Implement and monitor patient care plans. Communicate, monitor and record changes in patient condition as appropriate.
• Actively engage and participate in transition to practice programs in order to develop clinical thinking and enhanced clinical judgment to provide safe, competent, person-centered care.

What minimum qualifications you’ll need

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

• BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date registered. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
• Licensed Registered Nurse credentialed from the Florida Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date. Licensed as a Registered Nurse in Florida. Credentialed from State Board of Nursing or current home state license for multi-state license recognition "Compact State" obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.

Education:

• Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing OR Required professional licensure at time of hire.
