Broadcom, Inc. in San Jose, CA is seeking a Physical Design Engineer (New College Grad) for the ASIC Products Division. The role covers block-level floorplanning, P&R, CTS, timing closure, and signoff on cutting-edge deep sub-micron nodes.

You will gain hands-on experience with floorplanning, STA, ECOs, and physical verification while contributing to high-performance networking and AI/ML accelerators. Bachelor's or Master’s in Electrical/Computer Engineering is required, with internship

Qualificações

• Bachelor's or Master’s in Electrical/Computer Engineering with recent graduation.
• Experience with digital CMOS logic and standard cell libraries.
• Experience with EDA tools such as Cadence Innovus/Tempus or Synopsys IC Compiler II/PrimeTime.

Responsabilidades

• Participate in block-level floorplanning and run placement and routing flows.
• Perform Static Timing Analysis (STA) and debug timing paths; implement ECOs for timing closure.
• Run DRC, LVS, ERC, and Antenna checks and resolve signoff issues.
