Qualifications

• Bachelor’s in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field.
• Internship, co‑op, academic project or other hands‑on exposure to manufacturing or engineering processes.
• Foundational knowledge of manufacturing processes such as machining, welding, additive manufacturing, assembly or related methods.
• Ability to interpret mechanical or electrical engineering documentation and work across disciplines.
• Strong problem‑solving and analytical skills with interest in process improvement and learning how products move from engineering to manufacturing.
• Interest in using data, dashboards, automation, or emerging tools to improve manufacturing and engineering processes.

Responsibilities

• Support senior engineers and external manufacturing partners on readiness, production support, and continuous improvement activities.
• Partner with Engineering and Quality teams to prepare manufacturing readiness documentation and maintain standard processes.
• Work across mechanical and electrical systems, reviewing drawings, manufacturing requirements and production documentation.
• Support Design for Manufacturability activities and identify opportunities to improve manufacturability, quality, efficiency and scalability.
• Assist with troubleshooting manufacturing and design challenges and collaborate with internal teams and external partners to identify practical solutions.
• Contribute to process improvement initiatives, including dashboards, data, automation, or AI‑enabled tools to improve team efficiency.
