Job summary

Symbotic is offering a Manufacturing Engineer Intern position for the Summer term (May–Aug) to support external manufacturing partners and internal teams. The role spans mechanical, electrical, and process engineering, with hands-on exposure to manufacturing readiness and continuous improvement in a fast-moving robotics environment.

You will work with cross-functional teams, gain experience across design-for-manufacturability, and contribute to efficiency improvements while relocation benefits

Responsibilities

• Support senior engineers and external manufacturing partners on manufacturing readiness, production support, and continuous improvement activities.
• Partner with Engineering and Quality teams to prepare manufacturing readiness documentation, support engineering changes, and help maintain standard manufacturing processes and procedures.
• Work across mechanical and electrical systems, including reviewing drawings, manufacturing requirements, and production-related technical documentation.
• Support Design for Manufacturability activities and help identify opportunities to improve manufacturability, quality, efficiency, and scalability.
