Job summary

Symbotic, an AI-powered automation leader, is seeking a New Grad- Project Manager for its External Manufacturing team. The role focuses on coordinating projects across manufacturing programs, learning from senior PMs, and gaining exposure to quality, logistics, procurement, and planning.

You will work onsite at supplier and manufacturer sites, with travel up to 25% and potential future growth into a program management role.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or related field.
Interest in pursuing a career in project or program management within manufacturing.
Familiarity with Jira, Excel, or Microsoft Project.

Responsibilities

Learn from experienced Project Managers through coaching and hands-on coordination.
Coordinate project activities and follow up with vendors and cross-functional partners.
Participate in project and product-line meetings, aiding information flow and follow-up actions.
Support projects including new product introduction, automation, and manufacturing components.
Collaborate with quality, logistics, procurement, planning, suppliers, and manufacturing to understand functions.
Gain exposure to manufacturing environments and onsite work at supplier/manufacturer sites.
