Job summary

Symbotic is seeking a New Grad- Project Manager to join our External Manufacturing team. You will support project coordination across manufacturing programs, gaining cross-functional experience to grow into a program management role.

The role requires hands-on work at supplier and manufacturer sites, with mentoring from experienced PMs. You will interact with teams across quality, logistics, procurement, planning, and suppliers, and you may move between programs such as automation, conveyors,

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related engineering discipline.
• Interest in developing a career in project or program management within a manufacturing environment.
• Familiarity with Jira, Microsoft Excel, or Microsoft Project.
• Ability to collaborate across quality, logistics, procurement, planning, suppliers, and manufacturing.
• Willingness to travel up to 25%.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate project activities and follow up with vendors and cross-functional partners to keep work moving forward.
• Participate in project and product-line meetings, helping coordinate actions and information.
• Support projects that may include new product introduction, automation, steel and structural components, bots, conveyors, and battery swap initiatives.
• Collaborate across quality, logistics, procurement, planning, suppliers, and manufacturing to understand each function's role in project execution.
• Gain exposure to manufacturing and quality activities, including time working in manufacturing environments; will be onsite at supplier and manufacturer sites.
