Job summary

Amrize seeks a New Graduate Electrical Engineer to join the Build4Growth program at the Midlothian cement plant in TX. You will support electrical maintenance, plan and execute control system activities, and contribute to reliability improvements. The role targets graduates with a degree in Electrical Engineering or related experience.

The program spans 16 months with blended learning, on‑the‑job assignments, and projects, offering hands‑on exposure to main plant operations and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or 3 years equivalent experience.
• 0–3 years of work experience for new grads.
• Proficient with MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

Responsibilities

• Supervise electrical and instrumentation technicians on daily work orders and projects.
• Perform electrical preventive and predictive maintenance and data collection.
• Document electrical schematics and manage spare parts inventory.
• Ensure environmental compliance of system programming and PLCs.
• Provide training and guidance on control systems to plant personnel.
