Job summary

Amrize is seeking an entry-level Electrical Engineer for the Build4Growth Program to design and modify plant electrical equipment, while learning safety, PLC programming, and process control at our North American cement plants.

This 14-month program blends online learning with on-the-job assignments and projects to build foundational knowledge in electrical design, instrumentation, and capital-project management.

Qualifications

• Entry-level Electrical Engineer (0–3 years)
• Field of Study: Electrical Engineering preferred
• Technical skills: SAP, AutoCAD, Project and MS Office are desirable

Responsibilities

• Support and coordinate electrical design and development of new equipment
• Program CTI PLCs, Ifix HMI, Kiln High Level Control, Mill High Level Control
• Maintain network and IT support for servers, switches, and virtualization
• Manage electrical and mechanical projects and preventive maintenance programs
• Interface with contractors and prepare cost estimates for capital plans
• Develop and revise drawings and create PMRs and BOMs for electrical equipment
