Job summary

Amrize seeks an entry-level Electrical Engineer for the Build4Growth program in North America. You will contribute to electrical design, equipment upgrades, and plant modifications in alignment with safety standards.

The 14-month Build4Growth program blends online learning, on-site sessions, and hands-on assignments across cement plant operations, fostering foundational knowledge for key operational areas.

Qualifications

• Entry level (0-3 years)
• Field of Study Preferred: Electrical Engineering
• Required Technical Skills: SAP, AutoCAD, Project and Microsoft Office

Responsibilities

• Programming CTI PLCs, Ifix HMI, Kiln High Level Control, Mill High Level Control.
• Network maintenance and IT internal support for servers, switches, virtual programming.
• Manage electrical and mechanical projects.
• Develop and implement preventative maintenance programs (PMRs).
• Create BOMs and scope of work for plant electrical projects.
• Interface with contractors, solicit quotes, and oversee field direction.
• Prepare cost estimates and justify capital projects.
• Conduct feasibility studies on electrical modifications.
• Maintain drawings and specifications for electrical equipment.
