Job summary

Austin Bridge & Road, part of Austin Industries, is seeking entry level / new graduate engineers for multiple projects in the Dallas/Fort Worth, Texas area. You will gain exposure to Operations, Estimating, Survey, Scheduling and Engineering while supporting field teams on civil construction projects.

This role emphasizes hands-on learning, assisting with project schedules, earthwork calculations, CAD drafting and coordination with diverse teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Management; recent graduate by May 2027.
• Legally authorized to work in the United States; visa sponsorship not provided.
• Strong communication and time-management skills are essential.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel).

Responsibilities

• Assist in project controls, scheduling, surveying, and engineering tasks.
• Support creation and updates of project schedules and earned value metrics.
• Assist with earthwork calculations, shop drawing review, and formwork design.
• Support estimating and site reviews as needed.
• Learn and apply company policies and procedures.
