Job summary

Abbott is expanding its Infectious Disease diagnostics footprint in New England. The Sales Development Manager will target hospitals, laboratories, clinics, and urgent care settings, creating opportunities and building relationships from scratch.

You will own the territory pipeline, coordinate with cross-functional teams, and push tailored diagnostic solutions to meet healthcare provider needs while driving annual targets.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• 4+ years sales experience.
• Proven track record in competitive conversions.
• Experience as an individual contributor with complex selling and planning.
• Willingness to travel up to 50% (4 days/week).

Responsibilities

• Drive new business growth by identifying and converting zero-billing and competitive accounts.
• Develop and execute strategic territory plans using market intelligence and data analytics.
• Manage full sales cycle from lead generation to close and account transition.
• Maintain an accurate sales pipeline, account plans, and revenue forecasts in CRM.
• Collaborate with Marketing, Medical Affairs, Finance, Contracts, and Technical Services to deliver customer-focused solutions.
