Job summary

American Driver is seeking individuals finishing CDL school for hands-on training with a seasoned mentor. You’ll train 4 to 6 weeks before moving into solo driver pay.

During training, you’ll earn $850 weekly, with weekly or bi-weekly home time once you’re solo. Expect $1,300–$1,500 weekly on solo runs, with top earners at $1,800+ and bonuses on top of base pay.

Qualifications

• A valid Class A CDL.
• At least 120 hours of CDL school completed.
• No more than 2 moving violations in past 2 years.
• No serious traffic violations in last 12 months.
• No major preventable accidents in past 5 years.
• Clean hair and urine drug test.

Responsibilities

• Run pre-trip and post-trip inspections every time.
• Keep ELD logs accurate and up to date.
• Handle pickups and deliveries on schedule.
• Stay professional with dispatch and customers on the road.
