Job summary

American Driver is hiring new CDL-A holders with a real mentorship program: 4 to 6 weeks of one-on-one training with an experienced driver before you run solo, and guaranteed training pay so you earn while you learn.

After training, you transition to solo pay on regional routes with no-touch freight, company-paid tolls and fuel, and 24/7 dispatch support. Weekly or bi-weekly home time is available, plus benefits from day one.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL
• 120 hours of CDL-school training completed
• Clean driving record with no more than 2 moving violations in the last 2 years
• No serious traffic violations in the last 12 months
• No major preventable accidents in the last 5 years
• Must pass hair and urine drug testing
• Willing to learn and work safely with a mentor

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a Class A tractor-trailer
• Haul no-touch dry van freight on regional routes
• Complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections
• Maintain accurate ELD logs
• Communicate professionally with dispatch and customers
• Complete pickups and deliveries safely and on time
