Job summary

American Driver is looking for new CDL graduates to start with hands-on training under an experienced mentor.

You'll complete 4-6 weeks of ride-along training, earn $850 weekly during training, and move into solo driver pay with regional routes.

Once solo, expect weekly gross pay of $1,300–$1,500, with top earners $1,800+; benefits include health, dental, vision, and life coverage, 401(k) with company match, paid holidays, and time off.

Qualifications

• A valid Class A CDL.
• At least 120 hours of CDL school completed.
• No more than 2 moving violations in the past 2 years.
• No serious traffic violations in the last 12 months.
• No major preventable accidents in the past 5 years.
• Clean hair and urine drug test.

Responsibilities

• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections.
• Keep ELD logs accurate and up to date.
• Handle pickups and deliveries on schedule.
• Maintain professional communication with dispatch and customers.
