What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Research and identify potential school and district partners through outbound calls, emails, and social media outreach
- Qualify leads by understanding the needs and interests of prospects to set up appointments
- Build rapport with educators and administrators to promote Scholastic Reading Events
- Maintain accurate records of interactions and track progress toward monthly and quarterly goals in the CRM system
- Collaborate with the sales team to enhance lead generation strategies and improve sales effectiveness

What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent relevant experience in Business Administration, Management, Marketing, or a related field
- Minimum of three (3) years of successful sales experience in retail or territory sales, event management, and customer service
- Proficiency in MS Office and experience with Sales Automation and Customer Relationship Management software
- Strong oral and written communication skills, including presentation abilities
- Outstanding interpersonal skills for building relationships with peers, customers, and superiors
