What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Prospect and build relationships with schools and districts to expand the reach of Scholastic Book Fairs
- Qualify leads by understanding the needs and interests of potential partners and set appointments for Account Managers
- Maintain accurate records of interactions and progress towards sales goals in the CRM system
- Collaborate with the sales team to enhance lead generation strategies and improve effectiveness
- Achieve sales goals by booking events and identifying alternative funding opportunities for schools
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent relevant experience in Business Administration, Management, Marketing, or related field
- Minimum of three (3) years of proven successful sales experience in retail, territory sales, event management, or customer service
- Proficiency with MS Office and experience with Sales Automation or Customer Relationship Management software
- Strong oral and written communication skills, including presentation abilities
- Outstanding interpersonal and relationship-building skills with customers and team members
