What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Prospect and build relationships with schools to expand the reach of Scholastic Book Fairs
- Initiate outbound calls, emails, and social media outreach to decision-makers in schools
- Maintain accurate records of interactions in the CRM system and track progress toward goals
- Collaborate with the sales team to enhance lead generation strategies
- Achieve sales goals by booking events and identifying alternative funding opportunities
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent relevant experience in Business Administration, Management, Marketing, or a related field
- Minimum of three (3) years of proven successful sales experience in retail or territory sales
- Proficiency with MS Office software and experience with Sales Automation or Customer Relationship Management systems
- Strong oral and written communication skills, including presentation skills
- Outstanding interpersonal and relationship-building skills with customers and team members
