What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Research and identify potential school and district partners, initiating outreach through calls, emails, and social media
- Qualify leads by understanding the needs and interests of prospective clients, setting up appointments for Account Managers
- Build and maintain relationships with educators and administrators to promote Scholastic Reading Events
- Track and manage sales activities and progress in the CRM system to meet monthly and quarterly goals
- Collaborate with the sales team to improve lead generation strategies and stay informed on industry trends

What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent relevant experience in Business Administration, Management, Marketing, or a related field
- Minimum of three (3) years of proven successful sales experience in retail or district/territory sales, event management, or customer service
- Proficiency in MS Office software and experience with Sales Automation and Customer Relationship Management systems
- Strong oral and written communication skills, including presentation abilities
- Outstanding interpersonal and relationship-building skills

- Familiarity with children’s literature, Book Fairs, and school activities
- Proven leadership abilities and qualities demonstrated in previous roles
- Proficient in marketing and merchandising strategy and execution
