What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Research and identify potential school and district partners through outbound calls, emails, and social media outreach
- Qualify leads by understanding their needs and set appointments for Account Managers
- Build relationships with educators and administrators to promote the value of Scholastic Reading Events
- Maintain accurate records of interactions and progress in the CRM system
- Collaborate with the sales team to improve lead generation and align outreach strategies

What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent relevant experience in Business Administration, Management, Marketing, or related field
- Minimum of three (3) years of proven successful sales experience in retail or district/territory sales
- Proficiency with MS Office software and experience with Sales Automation or CRM systems
- Strong oral and written communication skills, including presentation abilities
- Outstanding interpersonal skills and ability to build relationships with customers and team members

How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Familiarity with children’s literature, Book Fairs, and school activities
- Proven leadership abilities and qualities in previous roles
- Experience in event management and personal selling
- Creative thinking and innovation in sales and marketing strategies
