What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Research and identify potential school and district partners through outbound calls, emails, and social media outreach
- Qualify prospects by understanding their needs and setting up appointments for Account Managers
- Build and maintain relationships with educators and administrators to promote Scholastic Reading Events
- Track progress toward monthly and quarterly sales goals using the CRM system
- Collaborate with the sales team to enhance lead generation strategies and improve effectiveness
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent relevant experience in Business Administration, Management, Marketing, or related field
- Minimum of three (3) years of successful sales experience in retail, district/territory sales, or event management
- Proficiency in MS Office and experience with Sales Automation or Customer Relationship Management software
- Strong oral and written communication skills, including presentation skills
- Outstanding interpersonal skills and the ability to build relationships with customers and team members

- Familiarity with children’s literature, Book Fairs, and school activities
- Proven leadership ability and qualities in sales roles
- Experience in marketing and merchandising strategy and execution
