Clear Destination Inc. is seeking an Anodizing Line Operator to efficiently operate a single anodizing line. You will monitor the conveyor belt system, racks, chemicals, and resulting product quality to ensure consistent and high-quality output.

The role emphasizes start-up responsibilities, communication with line operators, and ongoing line maintenance and safety. Previous experience in chemical processing or manufacturing is beneficial, with overtime as needed.

Responsibilities

• Continuously monitor each step of the anodizing process for quality of parts.
• Responsible for the start-up of the machine; adjust speed as necessary dependent upon tolerance and workforce on the line.
• Communicate with other operators on the line regarding conditions, dye mixtures, and issues from shift to shift.
• Monitor tanks and ensure the line is operational prior to shift start; coordinate with process manager for next day duties.
• Obtain color boards and job cards; obtain bath analysis and make adjustments as needed.
• Inform racking crew which parts to run and ensure proper racks are placed.
• Remain on the catwalk to monitor belt, racks, parts, baths, and to add chemicals, dyes, and seal as needed.
• Maintain a clean line; store equipment properly; perform necessary belt repairs.
• Wear and store safety equipment properly (including respirator).
• Complete required paperwork; perform other duties as assigned.

JOB SUMMARY

TheAnodizing Line Operatoris responsible for the efficient operation of a single anodizing line. Monitors all steps in our proprietary anodizing process including the conveyor belt system, racks, chemicals/dyes, and resulting product consistency and quality.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

• Continuously monitor each step of the anodizing process for quality of parts.
• Responsible for the start-up of the machine; adjust speed as necessary dependent upon the tolerance of the parts and the number of workers on the line.
• Communicate with the other operators on the line as to operating conditions, dye mixture, special problems, etc., that occurred during the shift.
• Responsible for monitoring tanks and assuring the line is operational prior to the start of the shift. Check with process manager daily as to extra duties for the next day’s shift.
• Obtain color boards and job cards as needed; obtain bath analysis from the lab and make any necessary adjustments.
• Inform racking crew what part is to be run and make sure the proper racks are in place.
• Remain on the catwalk throughout the shift to monitor the belt, racks, parts, baths, etc., and to add chemicals, dyes, and seal as needed.
• Maintain a clean line, free of clutter. Store equipment properly.
• Make necessary repairs on the belt.
• Maintain, properly store, and wear appropriate safety equipment (including a respirator).
• Properly complete required paperwork.
• Other duties as assigned.
