Job summary

Anomatic Corporation in New Albany, Ohio, seeks a production supervisor in the Anodizing department to lead daily operations and drive quality and efficiency on the production floor.

You will guide a team, train new hires, and coordinate with Quality and Operations to meet throughput targets. This role requires strong organization, communication, and the ability to work shifts and overtime as needed.

Qualifications

• One-year prior leadership experience (manufacturing preferred).
• Experience in a lean manufacturing environment is a plus.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Computer proficient with Windows-based systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day activities in the Anodizing department.
• Train and develop departmental team and lead Continuous Improvement efforts.
• Oversee training of new hires and temporary employees.
• Supervise output and effectiveness of team members.
• Ensure adherence to quality standards and throughput targets.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet production goals.
• Document progression of new employees and assist with 90-day evaluations.
• Track departmental metrics and maintain PPE inventory.
• Perform additional duties and projects as required.

Shift: Monday - Friday 6 am - 230 pm

Job Summary

This production floor position is responsible for leading daily operations in the department. Leads the activities of other employees through technical knowledge, experience, and sound decision-making abilities to support product quality and ensure customer satisfaction.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS -

• Leads day-to-day activities and communications within the department
• Trains and develops departmental team and leads employees in Continuous Improvement Programs.
• Responsible for the training and development of all new hires and temporary employees.
• Supervises work output and effectiveness for team members.
• Ensures accurate training of employees in proper job performance and expectations.
• Partners with cross-functional team. Responds to Production Operations and Quality Control to ensure product output meets throughput and quality standards set forth by Operations and Quality management.
• Document the progression of new employees and assist the Assembly Production Manager in the 90-day evaluations for these employees.
• Observes the progression and performance of all operators, material handlers, and printer packers to assist the Assembly Production Manager in the evaluation of these employees; Makes recommendations based on performance.
• Track and post daily departmental metrics as established by Plant Management.
• Ensure inventory of departmental PPE is adequate to perform regular production.
• Assist with any other duties and projects as required.

• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Computer proficient-Microsoft Windows based computer operation.
• Must be able to work overtime as needed, sometimes on short notice or on weekends.
• Ability to do shift work as necessary.
