Northwestern Medicine Catherine Gratz Griffin Lake Forest Hospital is seeking a Medical Assistant for the Neurosurgery clinic in Lake Forest. The role maintains patient flow, assists with procedures, and supports physicians and nurses in delivering high-quality care.

The position is full-time, 40 hours per week, with a Monday through Friday schedule from 8:00am to 4:30pm. Requires high school diploma or GED and MA certification with BLS/CPR on file.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Current CMA/RMA/NCMA/CCMA/NRCMA certification within 6 months.
• American Heart Association BLS/CPR certification required.

Responsibilities

• Ensure efficient patient flow and prepare exam rooms.
• Assist with ECG, venipuncture, immunizations and CLIA waived tests.
• Maintain equipment and inventory; protect patient confidentiality.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses and care teams.
