The role emphasizes up-to-date certification within six months, strong EMR proficiency, and teamwork.

Responsibilities include rooming patients, recording vital signs, preparing exam rooms, and assisting with common procedures such as ECGs and venipuncture, while maintaining a safe and courteous

Competenze

• Must be eligible to sit for one of the five eligible MA certifications within six months of employment.
• Within first six months of employment, must obtain CMA, RMA, NCMA, CCMA, or NRCMA certification.
• Strong computer skills and familiarity with EMR systems essential.

Mansioni

• Maintain efficient patient flow and assist with patient care activities.
• Escort patients, obtain vital signs, and document visits and allergies.
• Prepare exam rooms, set up equipment, and maintain cleanliness and safety.
• Assist practitioners with ECGs, venipuncture, immunizations, and CLIA-waived tests.
• Maintain vaccine/medication inventory and participate in safety rounds.
