Job summary

Insight Institute of Neuroscience & Neurosurgery (IINN) seeks a Comprehensive Therapy Technician to assist staff and physicians in delivering patient care of the highest quality. The role is clinical and patient-therapy centric, with potential for some administrative duties such as answering phones, obtaining authorizations, patient reminders, and EMR entry.

The position operates in a fast-paced, team-oriented multidisciplinary clinic.

Qualifications

• Eligible to work in the U.S.
• Pay negotiable based on experience
• High school diploma, GED, or suitable equivalent; Associates degree preferred
• Skilled in working with people while building and managing relationships in a friendly, empathetic and respectful manner
• Knowledge of clinical practices is preferred
• Ability to relate and work effectively with others
• Strong verbal and written English communications for safe and accurate documentation
• Reliable in work results, timeliness and attendance
• Ability to relate to and work with a diverse population
• Capable of handling fast-paced, stressful environments with patience and endurance
• Detail oriented, conscientious and committed to precision

Responsibilities

• Provide hands on patient direction and support
• Set up patients with machines, therapies and exercises
• Assist with therapeutic activities and other duties as assigned
• Assist in clinic flow management as needed
• Perform light cleaning duties as needed
• Assist in administrative tasks including front desk work
• Follow up with missed or canceled appointments
• Support the Comprehensive Therapy department via other duties as assigned
