Job summary

Ipsen is seeking a Neuroscience Specialty Representative to join a nationwide sales team in the United States. You will manage a territory, engage healthcare providers and pharmacists, and promote Ipsen’s products while ensuring compliance with drug laws and company policies.

The role requires a B.S./B.A. and 3+ years in pharmaceutical sales, with neuroscience experience preferred and migraine-related promotion experience a plus.

Qualifications

• B.S. or B.A. degree required.
• 3+ years of experience in pharmaceutical sales.
• Experience in neuroscience is strongly preferred.
• Experience promoting preventive migraine treatments preferred.
• Experience promoting toxins for therapeutic indications preferred.
• Ability to manage promoting pharmaceutical products in a buy-and-bill environment is preferred.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to travel as needed for business.
• Computer proficiency is required.

Responsibilities

• Attain the designated goals for calls on appropriate HCPs to communicate balanced, accurate, and complete information on Ipsen’s products.
• Execute calls on HCPs and pharmacists to provide product information and to assure the availability of Ipsen’s products in the territory.
• Conduct in-depth conversations with physicians and other HCPs utilizing multiple data sets across a broad base of approved product indications.
• Navigate through complex organization structures including hospitals and healthcare communities.
• Manage the territory in an efficient and orderly manner, ascribing principles of key HCP/account prioritization, daily call reporting, and sample accountability.
• Demonstrate completion of administrative requirements including budget management, logins, sample accounting, expense reports etc. within timelines and company guidelines.
• Comply with all state and federal laws, regulations and guidelines including the PhRMA Code on Interactions with Healthcare Professionals as well as complying with all Ipsen’s standards and policies relating to all job activities.
