Job summary

Ipsen is seeking a Neuroscience Specialty Representative to join a nationwide sales team, develop and manage the assigned territory, and deliver product information to healthcare providers and pharmacists with compliant and ethical practices.

The ideal candidate will hold a B.S./B.A. degree, have 3+ years of pharmaceutical sales experience, and preferably experience in neuroscience or migraine therapies. Travel may be required; strong communication and relationship-building skills are essential.

Qualifications

• B.S./B.A. degree required.
• 3+ years of pharmaceutical sales experience.
• Experience in neuroscience or migraine therapies preferred.
• Experience promoting preventive treatments for migraine preferred.
• Experience promoting toxins for therapeutic indications preferred.
• Ability to navigate buy-and-bill environment.
• Health education background an asset.
• Academic healthcare background an asset.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to build strong professional relationships.
• Willingness to travel as needed for business.
• Computer proficiency required.

Responsibilities

• Achieve calls goals with healthcare providers to communicate balanced information on Ipsen’s products.
• Conduct in-depth conversations with physicians and other HCPs using multiple data sets.
• Navigate complex hospital and healthcare networks to manage the territory.
• Develop and execute effective business plans and territory management.
• Maintain administrative tasks, including budgeting, logins, sample accountability, and expense reporting.
