Job summary

Johnson & Johnson is seeking a Field Reimbursement Manager to support the Albuquerque, NM territory, including El Paso, Tucson, and Colorado Springs. This role focuses on patient access, education, and affordability across payer types to ensure continued treatment initiation and adherence.

The position requires 5+ years in reimbursement or account management, deep knowledge of payers, and strong collaboration with sales, marketing, and PECS teams. Up to 75% travel is anticipated.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree (preferably in healthcare or business/public administration). An advanced business degree (MBA), or public health (MPH) is preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years of relevant professional experience.
• Account Management and/or Reimbursement experience in the provider office setting, building strong customer relationships.
• Reimbursement or relevant managed care experience (revenue cycle, buy-and-bill, prior authorization, coding, and appeals processes).
• Ability to establish relationships, collaborate, and influence across a matrix organization.
• Problem-solving ability to navigate challenging access scenarios and identify solutions quickly.
• Superior communication skills and effective follow-through.

Responsibilities

• Educate HCPs on reimbursement processes, claims submissions, procedures, and coding requirements of payer organizations.
• Collaborate with field support team members and serve as access, fulfillment, and reimbursement expert for the local team.
• Lead compliant access and fulfillment discussions with field support team members.
• Use data and account management to proactively address access barriers.
• Address critical access and affordability issues for patients with urgency and accountability.
• Partner with managed care colleagues to understand policies and changes.
• Conduct field-based reimbursement and access support and education per FRM Rules of Engagement.
• Build trust-based relationships with customers in assigned accounts.
• Manage territory logistics, routing, and account business planning.
• Maintain knowledge of market dynamics, coverage, and coding requirements.
