Qualifications

  • High School graduate; biology/chemistry background preferred.
  • Current Basic Life Support certification required.
  • Enrollment in or graduate of a CAAHEP CoA-NDT program or an associate degree.
  • Excellent communication with patients and health-care staff.
  • Knowledge of medical terminology, neuroanatomy and physiology.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare room and equipment for autonomic testing procedures.
  • Operate autonomic testing, including EMG/NCS, under supervision.
  • Maintain patient safety and educate patients during tests.
  • Follow HIPAA, infection prevention and control policies.
  • Support Neurodiagnostic staff and related duties.
