Qualifications

• Minimum education as above; relevant certification preferred.
• RNCS-T certification recognized by AAET.
• Experience in EMG testing and nerve conduction studies.
• Knowledge of neuroanatomy, physiology, and test interpretation.
• Familiarity with using EMG equipment and data interpretation.

Responsibilities

• Operate EMG and nerve conduction equipment as directed.
• Prepare patients and review requests and histories before testing.
• Record data accurately at each stage of the study.
• Ensure proper electrode application and technique.
• Maintain equipment, rooms, and supply inventory.
• Assist with chart flow, tickets, and reporting as needed.
• Relate procedures to diagnoses and assist with data interpretation.
• Keep patient logs up to date and maintain lab cleanliness.
