Job summary

Northwestern Medicine seeks a Neurodiagnostic Technologist to perform EEG, EMG, and Nerve Conduction Studies with supervision in a busy Neurological Testing Center. The role emphasizes patient preparation, electrode placement, and protocol adherence in a rotating weekend schedule at Feinberg/Galter, Chicago.

The position is non-exempt with overtime eligibility and a shift differential. Benefits begin for new employees per policy; collaboration with physicians and staff is essential.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent
• BLS/CPR certification through the American Heart Association
• Some formal Neurodiagnostic training
• Near registry eligibility in EEG/EMG/IONM/EP/AUTONOMIC/RVT
• Registered EEG Technologist (R.EEG.T) per ABRET
• Registered Nerve Conduction Technologist (R.NCS.T) per AAET/ABEM
• Experience in multiple ENDT modalities

Responsibilities

• Prepare patient and place recording electrodes per procedure
• Perform testing under direct supervision
• Troubleshoot signals and communicate abnormalities
• Maintain equipment and stock supplies
• Document study and notes with proper observations
• Encourage teamwork and interdepartmental communication
