Zusammenfassung

MyMichigan Health seeks a referral coordination specialist to manage third party payer referrals for primary care departments. You will coordinate pre-authorizations, communicate with providers, insurers, and patients, and maintain referral databases in the Electronic Health Record system.

You will enter and track referrals in EHR, generate monthly utilization reports, and address disputed requests while supporting timely specialty appointments and overall patient care.

Qualifikationen

• Two to four years medical office experience.
• Strong interpersonal and customer relations skills.
• Advanced medical terminology; ICD-9/ICD-10 and CPT coding experience.
• Knowledge of third payer rules and medical record documentation.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; able to work independently.
