Mercy Health is seeking a Patient Services Representative for the Anderson Neurology physician office. You will register patients, verify demographics and insurance, schedule appointments, explain financial options, and maintain accurate medical records with a focus on exceptional service.

Ideal candidates will have prior healthcare registration experience, strong communication skills, and the ability to assist across locations as needed.

Qualificações

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Prior experience in patient registration/healthcare preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Serve as the primary point of contact between patients and physician practices.
• Greet patients and provide outstanding customer service.
• Answer calls, schedule patients, and enter scheduling information accurately.
• Process patient admissions and verify basic insurance details.
• Identify and resolve office/process issues to maintain patient flow.
• Collect patient payments and reconcile cash drawer daily.
• Assist with referrals, scheduling follow-ups, and MyChart assistance.
• Obtain necessary authorizations/pre-certifications when applicable.
