Job summary

Eisai US is launching a major education-led effort in the U.S. focused on mild cognitive impairment and mild Alzheimer’s disease.

The Neurology Account Specialist will develop and execute business plans to drive demand, educate key stakeholders, and guide patient pathways within a defined geography. The NAS will build trusted relationships with HCPs and office staff, navigate the competitive landscape, and collaborate across functions while maintaining Eisai’s ethics and compliance standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with 3+ years experience in two or more of: infusion, diagnostic, biologic, medical device, buy & bill, rare disease, specialty pharmacy, and/or neurology.
• Experience working with the U.S. healthcare industry including delivery of care, market access and reimbursement landscape.
• Experience with healthcare delivery systems (buy & bill, specialty pharmacy, distribution models, medical devices/biologics) preferred.
• Experience in commercial functions (sales training, marketing, managed markets, analytics) preferred.
• Compliance & regulatory knowledge with pharmaceutical manufacturers is preferred.
• Experience navigating matrixed environments across functions and partners.

Responsibilities

• Sales and demand generation within assigned geography by conveying complex clinical information to customers and stakeholders.
• Develop, maintain, and execute strategic key-account plans.
• Explain patient pathways and ensure providers understand the therapy journey.
• Anticipate and address opportunities and challenges with HCPs in the geography.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support formulary decisions for hospitals.
• Conduct ongoing analysis of IDs, market dynamics, stakeholder mapping, and patient pathways.
• Engage and influence hospitals and local/ regional systems to strengthen Eisai's presence.
• Seek mentorship to learn and build key sales skills.
