Job summary

Vanda Pharmaceuticals seeks a seasoned district sales leader to drive specialty sales in CNS and related markets. You will recruit, coach, and develop a high-performing team while managing relationships with providers and facilities across the district.

The role requires 10+ years in pharma with a track record in sales management, strong analytical skills, and willingness to travel up to 75%. Local district leadership and credentialing experience are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree a plus.
• 10+ years in the pharmaceuticals industry with 4 years in Sales Management preferred.
• Specialty experience preferred: CNS, neurology, pain management; MS market desirable.
• Demonstrated ability to recruit, retain and develop high performing specialty sales teams.
• Documented high performance in sales and leadership.
• Valid driver's license and ability to travel locally, regionally, and overnight as needed.
• Ability to secure credentialing for healthcare providers and facilities.
• Strong relationships, communication, and analytical skills.
• Must reside near a major airport within the district; flexible in an innovative environment.
• Experience in small company and start-up settings; travel up to 75%.
