Job summary

Vanda Pharmaceuticals Inc. is seeking an experienced Senior Sales Leader to drive growth in our specialty portfolio. You will recruit, coach, and manage a high-performing team of specialty sales reps, focusing on CNS, neurology, and pain management markets.

Willingness to travel up to 75% is required. This role demands strong leadership, strategic thinking, and the ability to build relationships with healthcare providers and facilities while meeting sales targets.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree a plus.
• 10+ years in the pharmaceuticals industry with 4 years in Sales Management preferred.
• Specialty experience in CNS/neurology/pain management; MS market experience desirable.
• Strong track record recruiting, retaining and developing high-performing specialty sales teams.
• Must have valid driver's license and be willing to travel up to 75%.
• Ability to secure credentials and build relationships with providers and facilities.
• Strong interpersonal, written and verbal skills; analytical with business acumen.
