The University of Kansas Medical Center is seeking a Clerkship Coordinator - Neurology to support administrative aspects of the neurology student program for MS3, MS4 and visiting students. Qualifications

• Four years of relevant experience; education may substitute year-for-year.
• Experience liaising between two or more departments or organizations.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and oversee the junior and ambulatory neurology clerkships with the Clerkship Director and Associate Director.
• Coordinate elective rotations for medical students with general direction from the clerkship director.
• Coordinate and facilitate Neurology Clerkship orientation for four-week MS3/MS4 rotations.
• Coordinate with Academic and Student Affairs to ensure accuracy of student grades and schedule changes.
• Update syllabus and training materials; ensure copyright guidelines and regulations are followed.
• Coordinate clerkship materials including reserving lecture rooms, preparing syllabi, handouts, sign-in sheets, and lecturer evaluations.
• Notify faculty, residents, community preceptors, and students of clerkship schedules; prepare weekly schedules and notifications.
• Serve as the primary contact for students; liaise with Clerkship Director and Associate Director as appropriate.
• Provide primary support for the Clerkship Director and Associate Director in community neurology matters.
• Calculate and report the clerkship final grades for each medical student.
• Support Education Committee and Clerkship Curriculum Committee meetings and activities.
• Maintain and update rotation information on OASIS and SharePoint.
• Maintain Pediatric Department web site rotation information.
• Distribute evaluations electronically and collect comments for Dean’s letter; meet deadlines.
• Assist with mid-clerkship reviews and reporting to the School of Medicine.
• Coordinate with community partners for housing and documentation tasks.
