Job summary

Kansas City University is seeking a Clinical Clerkship Coordinator to manage clerkship experiences within an assigned region and support students and clinical site partners. The role emphasizes maintaining accurate records, guiding students, and ensuring alignment with curriculum goals.

The coordinator will work with departmental staff to monitor schedules, process core-site documents, and assist in evaluating students and sites to uphold learning objectives.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; Associate/Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
• Two years working in a college environment preferred.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and a strong working knowledge of databases.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate clinical clerkship experiences for the assigned region.
• Maintain master schedule for third- and fourth-year students.
• Coordinate the number of students assigned to clerkships for each academic year.
• Provide guidance to second-year students in securing core clerkships.
• Ensure accurate and timely establishment and maintenance of student records.
• Process required documents for core site clerkships.
• Coordinate evaluation processes for students, preceptors, and sites.
