Job summary

Catawba Valley Medical Center is seeking a Neurodiagnostic professional to perform EEG, EP and NC testing and to support and maintain the neurology section. You will be responsible for precise record keeping and for fulfilling department needs as directed.

The ideal candidate holds an associate degree in neurodiagnostics, REEGT credential, and BCLS certification, with AHA certification if the BCLS is not from AHA, and is ready to obtain the credential by the specified deadline.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Neurodiagnostics or equivalent field of study.
• RE EGT credential required by 2017 for ongoing employment.
• BCLS certification; if not AHA, AHA certification required within 1 month of employment date.

Responsibilities

• Performs EEG, EP and NCs.
• Performs support and maintenance functions relating to the section.
• Record keeping as specified.
• Specific duties in relation to department needs as directed.
