Job summary

Advocate Health Cabarrus's Neurodiagnostic department is seeking a full-time Neurodiagnostic technologist to perform EEG, NCV, and EP procedures, ensuring accurate data collection and high-quality reports. You will collaborate with physicians and technologists across shifts, including weekends, call, and holidays.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, completion of an accredited Neurodiagnostic program, and BLS.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; Neurodiagnostic program graduate preferred with 3 years of experience.
• BLS certification required; EEG registry or eligibility preferred.
• Board eligibility for ABRET EEG certification within 2 years of hire; ongoing department requirements for EEG board registry preparation.

Responsibilities

• Performs routine and complex EEG, NCV, and evoked potential procedures as trained.
• Maintains accurate records and reports; ensures proper data transfer to technologist reports.
• Assists with supervision of new technologists and interns; participates in supply ordering and upkeep.
• Maintains infection control practices and safety standards across all procedures.
• Responds to seizures and other emergencies with appropriate actions.
