Job summary

Advocate Health is seeking an experienced Neurodiagnostic Technologist to perform EEG, NCV, and EP procedures across multiple specialty areas. You will calibrate equipment, follow test strategies, and ensure accurate documentation from medical records to the technologist's report.

The role requires adherence to ABRET standards, strong organizational skills, and the ability to work with patients in diverse care settings.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Graduate from an accredited Neurodiagnostic program with 3 years of experience preferred.
• BLS required.
• EEG registry or eligibility for EEG registry preferred.
• ABRET certification in EEG within 2 years of hire.

Responsibilities

• Performs routine and complex EEG procedures, NCV, EP as trained.
• Calibrates equipment and resolves basic issues per manual.
• Obtains patient history and transfers to technologist's report.
• Adopts testing strategies and electrode montages for optimal results.
• Maintains accurate records and archived data.
• Provides preceptor supervision to new technologists and interns.
• Participates in ordering and maintaining supplies.
