System Support in Troy, OH is seeking an EEG/EP technologist to independently perform routine and long-term EEGs and evoked potentials. You will work with neurologists and nursing staff, interpreting data and ensuring accurate event recognition across monitoring modalities.
The role requires a high school diploma or GED, CPR certification, and board eligibility in REEGT/REPT, with about two years of EEG/EP experience preferred. On-call duties may be involved.
Independently performs neurodiagnostic procedures including both routine & long-term electroencephalograms (EEGs) and all modalities of evoked potential procedures under their scope of practice. Is knowledgeable in correct EEG, long-term monitoring (LTM), continuous (CEEG)/ICU monitoring, and evoked potential (EP) performance and recognition of clinically significant events and follows the facility’s policy and procedures. Exercises professional judgement in the performance of exams and communicates effectively with the neurologist and other staff members. May have on call responsibilities.
Minimum Level of Education Required: High School completion / GED
