Job summary

Atrium Health Concord seeks a Neurodiagnostic Technologist to perform EEG, NCV, EP and other specialized tests in a fast-paced clinical setting. You will calibrate equipment, review patient history, and tailor test strategies to achieve optimal results, adhering to ABRET standards.

Responsibilities include maintaining accurate records, supervising interns, and assisting with supply management. The ideal candidate has a Neurodiagnostic program background, BLS, and EEG registry eligibility, with

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Graduate from an accredited Neurodiagnostic program with relevant experience preferred.
• BLS required.
• EEG registry or EEG registry eligibility preferred.
• ABRET certification in EEG required within 2 years of hire; ongoing department requirements for EEG board registry preparation within 3 years.

Responsibilities

• Performs routine and complex EEG procedures, NCV, EP, and related tests.
• Operates equipment per manual; identifies and corrects basic issues.
• Obtains patient data from medical records and transfers to reports.
• Adapts test strategies and electrode montages based on history and findings.
• Follows ABRET standards for test recordings and documentation.
• Provides preceptor supervision to new technologists and students.
• Participates in procurement and maintenance of department supplies.
