Banner Health in Tucson, Arizona, is offering a New Nurse Experience (NNE) RN Residency Program. This full-time program guides recent graduates from student to competent registered nurses within Banner Health.

Participants receive hands-on mentoring, unit-specific training, and exposure to Banner Simulation Center, Cerner EHR, and broader career pathways. Successful candidates will commit to a 12-month unit assignment and local commute.

• Current BLS card (through either American Heart Association, Red Cross, or ASHI) or ability to obtain certification before a start date

Banner Health's New Nurse Experience (NNE) provides a collaborative learning environment where you can refine your nursing skills, enhance your knowledge, and transition from a new graduate to a fully competent, professional nurse at Banner Health.

About our program: The Banner Health New Nurse Experience is a full-time Registered Nurse position that assists you in transitioning from a new graduate to a fully competent, professional nurse at Banner Health. This program provides a collaborative learning environment in which you can refine your nursing skills, enhance your knowledge, and develop new personal and professional relationships.

Successful candidates will be placed in specific units at Banner Health facilities to be clinically mentored by unit staff and educators. We offer all of our New Grads multiple Career Pathways and development opportunities to achieve your long-term career goals. Whether you are wanting to go into a specialty unit, leadership roles, non-bedside nursing opportunities, or any other sector of nursing - we will help you get there! The expectation is that you will stay on your NNE unit for at least 12 months to get a full and comprehensive training experience! New Grads will also need to live within a reasonable commute distance of the facility they are hired into.

Most new nurses will work three 12 hour shifts, which will include weekend and holiday rotations with other staff members.

• Patient care skills lab that provides hands-on experience with equipment

Requirements to Apply Online:

Benefits/Compensation:

This is a full time, benefitted, and paid position. Enjoy a flat rate $3/hour weekend shift differential and an 18%-night shift differential when applicable. All New Grad RN positions are eligible for Banner Health's "Total Rewards Compensation Package", which includes Health/Dental/Vision insurance (if employee desires), PTO/Sick time accrual, 401K, and a long list of other benefits. Benefits begin the 1st of the month following your start date.

PCU Trauma T2 D3N Our PCU Trauma is a 24-bed unit, where you will be involved first-hand in providing care that improves patient outcomes and experience. Our specialty is providing care for traumatic brain injuries and wounds. We are a fast-paced unit that is looking for energetic, dependable individuals to join our team and help to make a difference in our patient's lives. Teamwork is strong in this department, and support to be your best self is great. Our academic model and teaching orientation support learning at all levels, and is truly a collaborative environment between staff, physicians and other therapies.
