Job summary

Banner Health is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Neuro and Trauma Progressive Care Telemetry Unit at Banner Thunderbird Medical Center in Glendale, AZ. The RN will assess, plan, implement and evaluate patient care on a high-acuity mixed population, with emphasis on neuro and trauma patients.

This full-time night shift includes three 12-hour shifts per week, weekend/holiday rotation, and an 18% night differential plus a $3/hour weekend differential where applicable.

Qualifications

• Must possess a current, valid RN license in state of practice and BLS certification.
• Experience in an acute care hospital setting is required or preferred depending on area.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient needs across physical, psychological, social and developmental domains; review history, diagnostics and discharge planning.
• Formulate, implement and revise a plan of care in collaboration with the patient, family and multidisciplinary team.
• Provide direct patient care, coordinate activities, delegate tasks and supervise care by others as appropriate.
