Job summary

Banner Thunderbird Medical Center seeks a Registered Nurse for the Neuro and Trauma Progressive Care Telemetry Unit (PCU). The position is a full-time day shift, 7:00 am–7:30 pm, with weekend/holiday rotation and a $10K sign-on bonus.

New nurses and experienced tele/ICU backgrounds are welcome to apply. The unit emphasizes teamwork, evidence-based practice, and patient-centered care, with opportunities for professional development and collaboration across specialties.

Qualifications

• Active registered nurse license in the state of practice.
• BLS certification is required; additional certification may be required based on specialty.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient needs and plan care based on policy and nursing standards.
• Implement and evaluate the nursing plan of care and coordinate with the health care team.
• Document assessments, interventions, and patient responses accurately in the medical record.
